Knowshon Moreno Not Yet 100%

Knowshon Moreno Not Yet 100%

The Denver Bronco’s looked at one point to have too many running backs, are now running behind as the season opener is just two weeks away. After losing seven tailbacks to injury in 2008, the injured knee of Knowhon Moreno is a real concern for the team.

It looks like the team is going to have to share the load at running back as Correll Buckhalter has already had two knee surgeries and both Moreno and Lamont Jordan are nursing injuries.

According to Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post, Moreno is not expected to be 100 percent by the Broncos play Cincinnati for week one.

So it looks like for week one as of right now, Correll Buckhalter and Peyton Hillis will split the carries and look for Moreno to be worked back into the rotation in upcoming weeks.

Future Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre once again comes out of retirement and signs with his former teams rival, the Minnesota Vikings for a 2 year $25 million contract.

There has been a lot of controversy over the comeback but there is also a lot of excitement. Packer fans feel betrayed that their former star quarterback is now going to be starting for their division rival. Other fans are happy to see the star back again and wish him the best of luck.

Favre brings a lot to the table for the Vikings. He brings experience, hope, talent, history, and a heck of an arm. The Vikings already have the NFL’s best running back in Adrian Peterson and one of the best defenses. The team signed the big name speedster wide receiver Percy Harvin as a target along with Bernard Berrian. It’s hard to say that one man can be the difference, but with Favre, it’s another story. The Vikings are going to be a team to be reckoned with.
